Frances R. Bolden

Frances R. Bolden is a dedicated educator, leader, and community servant whose career reflects a lifelong commitment to education and service. Married to Bobby L. Bolden, she is the proud mother of three sons—London, Alton, and Tellis—and grandmother to 14 grandchildren.

A devoted member of First Baptist Church Piney Grove, Frances serves faithfully as a Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher for children ages 8–12, as well as the Young Adult Class. Her passion for service extends into Piney Grove Academy, where she volunteers in multiple capacities including administration, teaching (grades 4–12), FLVS coordination, curriculum development, and as a liaison to the Board of Directors.

Her academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Administration and Supervision from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration with a minor in Mathematics from Fisk University. She is also a proud graduate of Dillard High School.

Frances’s professional journey spans decades of leadership in the Broward County School Board, where she served as Director overseeing 35 schools. She was Principal at three middle schools—Olsen Middle, Pines Middle, and Silver Trail Middle—as well as Western High School, which serves the cities of Davie, Sunrise, and Weston. In addition, she served as Assistant Principal at Olsen Middle and Margate Middle, Math Department Head at Coral Springs Middle, and as a classroom teacher in diverse locations including Bangkok, Thailand, and Rapid City, South Dakota, within a U.S. Air Force community.

With her extensive experience and unwavering dedication, Frances R. Bolden continues to inspire students, colleagues, and her community through her leadership, faith, and service.
