Marian McCann
Marian McCann is a retired Human Services Administrator with over 40 years of work in the human services field in Broward County.
As a lifelong advocate for underserved populations, Ms McCann served as an appointee of the late Governor Lawton Chiles to the 1st Juvenile Justice Board, the National Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention board, the Children’s Defense Fund, United Way of Broward community board and the PACE Center.
Holding various affiliations she is currently a Board member of Piney Grove Academy and Vice President of the Hallandale Beach Scholarship fund. Miss McCann has written and operated numerous programs in the area of child welfare, juvenile justice, vocational rehabilitation, homelessness, re entry, employment, housing and program development to respond to the needs of the community.
